Welcome to the webpage of Prof. Changjin Huang's research group in School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore!

We are a highly interdisciplinary research team dedicated to advancing the frontiers of both biomechanics and bio-inspired engineering using physical approaches, engineering tools and computational models. In the field of biomechanics, we delve into the intricate mechanics of cells and subcellular structures to uncover the fundamental principles governing their behavior and interactions. On the bio-inspired engineering front, we innovate by fabricating cutting-edge in vitro systems and bio-inspired constructs using soft materials. Leveraging advanced 3D printing techniques, we strive to mimic the complexity of natural systems, paving the way for breakthroughs in medical research and engineering applications.
