Dr. Lin Jun is presently a Senior Research Scientist of Alibaba-NTU Global e-Sustainability CorpLab (ANGEL), a Professor and Vice Chair of the Joint SDU-NTU Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research (C-FAIR), a Senior Research Fellow of the Joint NTU-UBC Research Centre of Excellence in Active Living for the Elderly (LILY), a part-time Senior Researcher of Jinan-NTU Green Technology Research Institute (GreenTRI), a part-time Senior Researcher of China-Singapore International Joint Research Institute (CSIJRI), a part-time Professor and Expert of Intellectual Property Judicial Expertise of Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center (CSIP) of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, PRC, a High-level Talent Evaluation Expert of the Beijing Overseas Talents Center. He also serves as an executive member of the Association for Crowd Science and Engineering (ACE), a member of the Intellectual Property Appraisal Committee of China Intellectual Property Society (CNIPS), a senior member of China Computer Federation (CCF), a member of IEEE CS, ACM, a global technical consultant of Semtech Corporation, and a consultant of Microsoft Research Asia's MSTC. Dr. Lin Jun received a master's degree in software engineering from Beihang University in 2005 and a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence from Nanyang Technological University in 2015. Prior to joining NTU in 2015, he held various positions such as the CTO of U.S. Business Network Co., Ltd (USBN) in 2001; a Mobile Game Engine Architect at KEMCO Company in Japan in 2003; and was a Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, Deputy Director of Computer Game Design Master Program, and Deputy Director of Mobile Cloud Computing Master Program in Software School of Beihang University from 2005 to 2015. He has extensive experience in project management and operation for various fields, including e-commerce, blockchain, digital entertainment, the Internet of Things, and health technology, among others. Dr. Lin Jun has developed the first and the second-generation B2B global e-commerce platform for USBN (MeetChina.com and MeetWorldTrade.com), and software "e-Catalog" he developed won the second place of The First Microsoft Innovation Cup Software Development Competition (China) in 2003. The RPG game engine developed in Japan was used in the mobile version of the famous game "Sanada Ten Warriors", which ranked among the top three sales in Japan in 2005. In Singapore, he promoted Baidu to build its first overseas mobile application crowdsourcing test platform, and helped Alibaba and NTU jointly establish their first overseas joint research institute. As the project leader, he led the team to undertake a number of multi-million dollar R&D projects from Microsoft R&D Fund, Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) Fund, Singapore Media Development Agency, China-Singapore International Joint Research Institute, Alibaba Group, and Semtech. Professor Lin Jun has published over 40 papers in top international conferences on software engineering (such as ASE), artificial intelligence (such as AAMAS, AAAI), and international journals (such as Nature Scientific Data and the International Journal of Crowd Science-IJCS). He has served as a local chairperson of several international academic conferences, a reviewer, or a program committee member of academic journals. His current research interests include blockchain, low-power wide-area Internet of Things technology and its application in smart cities, smart agriculture, smart medical care, smart education, and other industries, crowd science, artificial intelligence, and trusted e-commerce trading technology and platforms, among others.

This results in six feature values, including hand flexibility index, hand tremor index, hand correlation cognition score, leg flexibility index, leg tremor index, and leg correlation cognition score. These six feature values are input into a Parkinson's symptom severity assessment logistic regression model, which outputs a Parkinson's symptom evaluation level. By using this method, the invention assesses the severity of Parkinson's symptoms from both motor and non-motor symptom perspectives, resulting in a more reliable evaluation.

The recognition method and device of the present invention process the information of lower limb movement, which can further modularize lower limb movement, has the advantages of fast response, higher accuracy, and stronger adaptability, and has the ability of adaptive learning, which can distinguish and recognize different individual exercise habits.
