My
general research interests include the development of statistical methods
with applications to scientific problems in the areas of medicine,
epidemiology, public health and quality management.
My
current research focuses on the areas of survival analysis and analysis
of longitudinal/ clustered
data. More specifically, I am
interested in developing
·
statistical methods for survival data with
complex structures, including various semiparametric models for clustered
survival data, semi-competing risks data, interval-censored data with
cure fraction and high-dimensional survival data;
·
semiparametric
methods for handling missing data in generalized linear mixed models
(GLMMs), robust estimation in finite mixtures of GLMMs, overdispersion and/or zero-inflation in correlated
count data.
My
past research areas have also included model
diagnostics, statistical process control and monitoring.
