- Research Engineer in edge AI systems

A Research Engineer position is available at the IoT Research Group at NTU. The candidate is expected to have Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or communication/information/electronic/control engineering. Good math, good physics are pluses. Main direction of research is edge AI systems. The selected candidate will be advised by Dr. Rui Tan and mentored by senior researchers from the same research group. Interested candidates are encouraged to browse the work scope and past publications of the research group to ensure a good match. Interested candidates please send CV to tanrui@ntu.edu.sg. Only shortlisted candidates will be replied and invited for interview.
Further notes: (1) The focus of the research will be on systems, rather than AI (broadly defined), although AI knowledges/skills will be a factor of consideration in the selection process. (2) Pursuing a Master by Research degree on the position is possible.

One fully funded PhD (4 years) position is potentially available for the 2027 fall intake at College of Computing and Data Science, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The candidate is expected to have a Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, computer engineering, or communication/information/electronic/control engineering. Good math, good physics are pluses. Interested candidates are encouraged to browse the work scope and past publications of the IoT Research Group at NTU to ensure a good match. - Postdoctoral Fellow in systems research

This is an always-on call for excellent PhD holders to contact tanrui@ntu.edu.sg for potential postdoctoral positions if your systems research is relevant to the scope of IoT Research Group at NTU and you have published at least one first-authored paper at a top-tier computer science/engineering conference according to any open conference ranking. Only shortlisted candidates will be replied and invited for interview.
Interns
Our group does not intake any remote interns. We may host undergraduate or postgraduate in-person interns on a by-invitation basis. Please do not send unsolicited queries on availability of intern positions.
Visiting PhD students
Our group may host visiting PhD students. If you are interested in a research visit as part of your PhD program, please ask your PhD thesis advisor to contact tanrui@ntu.edu.sg
