This page provides a short summary of current institutional roles and selected professional service.
At NTU, I have served as Director of the Centre for Augmented and Virtual Reality (CAVR) since 2022, helping develop it into a financially self-sustaining entity. I also serve as Programme Co-Director of the MSc in Game Design and Technology, a cross-school initiative jointly offered with the School of Art, Design and Media and College of Computing and Data Science. In this role, I contribute to curriculum design, programme development, and coordination across disciplines, with the aim of integrating computing, design, and interactive media. Beyond these leadership roles, I have been actively involved in school and university committees related to teaching, assessment, and appraisal.
In the research community, I have served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics, Computer Graphics Forum, and Computational Visual Media. I have also taken on leadership roles as General or Program Co-Chair for major conferences in geometric modeling and computer graphics, including the Symposium on Solid and Physical Modeling, Geometric Modeling and Processing, Shape Modeling International, Pacific Graphics, the Computational Visual Media Conference, and CAD/Graphics. In 2027, I will serve as Summit Co-Chair of the International Geometry Summit, bringing together SPM, SMI, GMP, SGP, and SIAM GD in Singapore.
