PhD STUDENT RECRUITMENT
¾
Several PhD students recruited here are required by: (1) A
Bachelor’s degree with honours of at least a Second Class Upper or Honours (Distinction) level or equivalent; (2) A Master’s degree
(research-based) from a reputable university; (3) For
international applicants whose mother tongue is not English,
a TOEFL score of ≥600 (paper-based) / ≥250 (computer-based)
/ ≥100 (internet-based) is required. A minimum of IELTS score
of 6.5 is required to replace TOEFL. They are also required
to have
a
total
GRE score of ≥ 319/3.5 where score for verbal (V)
and quantitative (Q) sections must be i) V170(max) + Q149(min)
or ii) V153(min) + Q166(max) and analytical writing score is
at least 3.5. Applicants from India may
use the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering [GATE] score
of at least 90% in place of GRE. (4) Interested in research
area of computational science & engineering; and (5)
Backgrounds of computational mechanics / materials modelling
are preferred (here
