Yuming Yan was born in Shaanxi, China. He received his B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and automation from Xi’an Jiaotong University, Xi’an, China, in 2017.
He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
His research interests include permanent-magnet electrical machine design, and fault tolerant machine design.
