Konstantinos Liogas received his BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of East London in 2017.
During his undergraduate studies, he completed multiple summer internships at KLEEMANN HELLAS ΑΒΕΕ and Thales Defence & Security, Inc. In 2016, he joined SG Technologies Ltd, a UK-based manufacturing company specializing in high-performance magnetic components and assemblies, where he held the position of Research Engineer from 2016 to 2022. In this role, he was heavily involved in the research and development of soft and hard magnetic materials for high-performance electrical machines and actuators. From 2022 to 2024, he worked as a Research Assistant at the A*STAR Institute of Materials Research and Engineering (IMRE) in Singapore, focusing on the development of novel soft magnetic materials using laser-based additive manufacturing techniques.
He is currently a Research Assistant at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, as well as a D.Phil. candidate in the Department of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford.
