Mingqiao Wang was born in Heilongjiang, China in 1994. He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2016 and 2021, respectively.
Since 2022, he has been with Harbin Institute of Technology, where he has been an Associate Research Fellow since 2025. He is the author or coauthor of 47 published refereed technical papers. He is the holder of 22 Chinese invention patents.
He is currently a Visiting Scholar with the school of electrical and electronic engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
His current research interests are in design and control of variable flux machines, and the intelligent computing of electric machine system.
