Shun Cai was born in Hubei, China. He received the B.Eng. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2014 and 2017, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree at the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, UK.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the school of electrical and electronic engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
His research interests include permanent magnet machine topologies and optimization.
