Cheng Wei Yang was born in Singapore. He received his B.Eng. degree in Aerospace Engineering with a specialisation in smart manufacturing and digital factory from the school of Mechanical and Aerospace engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2022. Subsequently, he received his MSc in power engineering from the school of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2023.
He is presently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
His areas of interest in research include the development of improved novel motors using addictive manufacturing and multi-physics simulation.
