Hao Chen (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the School of Electrical Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University, Beijing, China, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in control science and engineering from the School of Automation, Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, in 2019. From 2016 to 2018, he was a joint Ph.D. student with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Marquette University, Milwaukee, WI, USA.
He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
His research interests include design and optimization of electric machines, power electronic drives, and motor control.
