Xiaojun Shen received his B.Eng. and M.Sc. degrees in mechanical design and laser Engineering from Xuchang University and Air Force Engineering University, China, in 2013 and 2016 respectively, and the PhD degree in materials science and engineering from Coventry University, UK, in 2020.
Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
His research activities are focused on the followings, plastic deformation and crystallographic texture evaluation in laser peened titanium alloys, surface integrity of additively manufactured metals, additive manufacturing of soft magnetic materials for electrical machines, marco- and micro-scale residual stress characterization techniques
