Zhiqiang Zeng was born in Hunan, China, in 1995. He received the B.Eng. degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Qingdao University, Qingdao, China, in 2015, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2020.
From 2018 to 2019, he was a joint Ph.D. student with the University of Nottingham, U.K., and from 2020 to 2021, he was an Engineer of Leading Researchwith Midea Corporate Research Center, Shanghai, China. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
His research interests include design and analysis of permanent-magnet machines.
