Yanlei Yu received the B.E.degree from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2022, respectively.
From 2020 to 2021, he worked for the Sino-Germany Research Project for one-year joint Ph.D. study at the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Karlsruhe, Germany. He is currently a Research Fellow with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
His research interests mainly include the design of high-torque and high-power density permanent magnet machines and drives, novel electrical machines, and multi-physics analysis, especially for electric vehicles and electric aircrafts.
