About Us

Welcome to the webpage of Prof. Changjin Huang's research group in School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore!

We are a highly interdisciplinary research team devoted to identifying the underlying physcial principles that control the mechanical properties and stress state of biological systems and soft biomaterials using physical approaches, engineering tools and computational models. Understanding how the mechanical properties and stress state of biological systems and biomaterials dictate their functions will not only inspire more effective diagnostic and therapeutic applications, but also lead to novel biomimetic systems with advanced functions. We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded an IAF-ICP grant on digital single cell printing! Openings for one RF and one RA are available.

We are delighted to announce that our MOE Tier 2 proposal on the mechanical coupling of nanoparticle and extracellular matrix elasticities for enhanced tumor targeting has been awarded. We are recruiting RFs and RAs to work on this project.
