Welcome to the webpage of Prof. Changjin Huang's research group in School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering (MAE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore!

We are a highly interdisciplinary research team devoted to identifying the underlying physcial principles that control the mechanical properties and stress state of biological systems using physical approaches, engineering tools and computational models. Understanding how the mechanical properties and stress state of biological systems dictate their functions will not only inspire more effective diagnostic and therapeutic applications, but also lead to novel biomimetic systems with advanced functions.
