2010: PhD student, Kok-Hui Goh, is the winner of the World Future Foundation’s Best PhD Prize of 2010.

Title of PhD thesis: “Sorption of Oxyanions on Nanocrystalline Mg/Al Layered Double Hydroxides: Sorption Characteristics, Mechanisms, and Matrix Interferences”

 

2009: Honoured as the most inspirational mentor by Miss H.Q. Soh, the winner of University Scholar Award 2009.

Title of undergraduate final year research project:  “Design of Household-Level Arsenic Treatment System in Cambodia: System Design and Performance”

 

2005: MEng student (Kok-Hui Goh) was awarded Singapore Millennium Foundation’s PhD Fellowship for 2005-2009 (the only SMF fellowship for PhD study in Environmental Engineering), based on his excellent achievement in M.Eng study.

Title of M.Eng thesis: “Arsenic and Selenium Removal from A Contaminated Soil by Competitive Anions and Redox Transformation”
