Research at Duan-Group aims at developing hybrid nanomaterials of polymers and inorganic nanocrystals for bioimaging, drug delivery, biosensing, and catalysis. The work at BIO-NANO interface represents our major efforts. We are especially interested in modulating the surface chemistry of metal and semiconductor nanocrystals and carbon materials with functional polymers to direct their interactions with structured surfaces and living systems and their self-assembly into hierarchical structures. |
