The main research activities in our group include investigating theoretically and experimentally
fundamental light-matter interactions in the infrared regimes (~1-300 micrometer) for developing novel photonic and optoelectronic devices for a
wide range of applications from communications to sensing & spectroscopy, from defense to material & food sciences, from healthcare to
environmental monitoring & process control. In particular, we are focusing on the development of quantum cascade lasers, graphene optoelectronic
devices, infrared plasmonic and metamaterial devices.
