I am honoured to have received the Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Students Aborad (2017).
China Scholarship Council established this award in 2003 to celebrates the achievements of non-Chinese-government funded Chinese doctoral students studying abroad. This award honors overseas Chinese students with outstanding academic accomplishments from different disciplines in 29 countries, including America, UK, German, Japan, Australia and Canada. Almost all these students get stipend from universities abroad.
Currently this prestigious award is presented to 500 students worldwide each year and is highly competitive. The number of Chinese students leaving China to study abroad is more than half a million each year.
