Welcome to the homepage of the EM Clusters Lab! In here, you will find a short description of who we are and what we are up to. Briefly, we are a group of individuals who want to learn more about the chemical world; the oldest student among us is LWK. We learn by prying (“kay poh” in the Hokkien vernacular), thinking (very “hard work” indeed!) and then more prying. Throughout it all, the key word is fun, and “to boldly go where no one has gone before!”

	4 Aug 2025 Congratulations to Kien Voon on his promotion to the rank of Full Professor in the National Taiwan University! Kien Voon did his PhD work with the group and graduated in 2009.
	9 Jun 2025 Kumaran's work on Ir-catalysed ester-directed oxidative coupling has been accepted for publication in Tet. Lett.! Check it out (paper #214).
	17 Apr 2025 Liang Xin's seminal work on a new class of drugs for Parkinson's Disease has been accepted for publication in Chem. Commun.! Check it out (paper #213).
	11 Apr 2025 The newly-minted Dr Liang Xin has successfully defended her thesis. Congratulations!
