Job Opening

We are searching for highly motivated Research Fellows for the following positions:
NTU/NUS PhD candidates who have submitted their thesis and are waiting for Oral Defense are invited to apply.

Position 1: Research Fellow/Graduate Student Assistant

Project: 3D printing technology.

Synthesis of transparent conducting ink, 3D printing technology and photoanode for solar water splitting. Candidates should have relevant background in materials science/chemistry/physics.  Experience and relevant publication track record in chemical synthesis of ceramics/polymer composites, electrical characterizations and 3D printing technology will be considered favourably.

Position 2: Research Fellow in Computational Materials Science

The RF will perform high-throughput compound prediction approaches combining data mining and DFT phase stability computations to identify p-type transparent conducting oxide. This screening will be performed mainly at the DFT or hybrid functional level. The most promising materials will be also studied extensively by more advanced techniques including GW or with more expensive properties such as mobilities through electron-phonon computations. Candidates with PhD in computational materials science/chemistry are invited to apply. Candidates with relevant experience and publication track records will be considered favourably.

Position 3: Research Fellow in High Throughput synthesis and characterizations of inorganic metal compounds

High throughput chemical synthesis and characterization of multinary metal oxides for p-type transparent conducting oxide. He might assist in machine-learning study related to the experiments. Candidates should have relevant background in materials science/chemistry/physics.  Experience and relevant publication track record in high throughput synthesis, characterizations and machine learning will be considered very favourably.
