CH2103: Fluid Systems (3 AU, Undergraduate, Semester 1)

This course introduces fluid behaviours in various systems relevant to industrial practice. Topics include mass, energy and momentum balances related to fluid flows, fluid flow in pipes, dimensional analysis, pumps and compressors, and differential equations of fluid mechanics.

BG6001 / BG4231: Advanced Biomaterials (3 AU, Graduate / Advanced Undergraduate, Semester 1)

This course introduces students to various biomaterials and their applications in bioengineering. It covers biomaterial preparation, chemical composition, properties, and considerations for biomaterial selection and design.

BG6014 / CB4216: Entrepreneurship in MedTech and Biotech (3 AU, Graduate / Advanced Undergraduate, Semester 2)

This course provides aspiring innovators and entrepreneurs with a scientific framework towards commercialization of medical technologies and devices. It introduces lean start-up fundamentals, customer discovery and development, MedTech product development and regulation, and business model design.
