Graduate Student positions:

PhD positions are currently available in our group for admission in Jan 2025 or Aug 2025. Prospective PhD Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in Chemical/Biomedical/Material Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Biochemistry, Biological Science or a related Science/Engineering discipline. These PhD positions are open to students of all nationalities and will be fully funded (tuition + stipends + health insurance) by university fellowship or the PI's grants.

MINIMUM criteria to qualify for further consideration : candidates should achieve at least a grade of 75% or equivalent for their undergraduate cummulative GPA, with a either an iBT TOEFL score of at least 95 or average IELST score of at least 6.5. Availability of GRE score will be an advantage.

Due to an overwhelming number of application emails often received, only shortlisted candidates will be notified within 3 weeks of application receipt to discuss potential research projects. Candidates submitting application before Sept 24th will be considered with priority.

 

VOLUNTEER Undergraduate Students:

Interested Singapore-based undergrads in their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year are welcome to join our projects anytime throughout the year. URECA, FYP students and those who are not affiliated to a particular program but have genuine interest and passion for research are all welcome. Each undegrad will be assigned to a postdoc or graduate student mentor who will guide them on planning experimental research and new laboratory skills. They will also be trained on reading scientific literature, presentation and report writing skills. Motivated undegrads who contributed meaningfully to our research will gain recognition through co-authorship in publication.
