Opportunities

Research positions in experimental spintronics are available. The appointments are initially for one year with a possibility of renewal for another year. Candidate with experience at least in any two of the following areas is preferred:

· Resistive switching memory materials and device

· Neuromorphic computing

· Spin orbit torques

A qualified PhD degree in Physics, Engineering, or Material Science is required for the Research Fellow position. A qualified Master degree in similar discipline is required for the Research Associate position, while a first degree holder can be considered for the Project Officer position. Only motivated candidate with team spirit and ability for independent work is considered.

PhD research opportunities are available at the Spintronics Device Laboratory, School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Physics Division), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

Students will have opportunity to work on the topics of non-volatile memory devices, i.e. spintronics, ReRAM devices.

Several full scholarships are available for qualified students. Entry requirements include a Bachelor's degree in physics, engineering, or materials science.

GRE and TOEFL results are generally required. Alternatively, students can take NTU's English Proficiency Test (EPT) and Technical Proficiency Test (TPT) and score a good pass in both test. Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must.
