Efficient Single Pixel Imaging

Improving single pixel imaging performance in high noise condition by under-sampling

Improving single pixel imaging performance in high noise condition by under-sampling

Single pixel imaging need multiple measurements to reconstruct an image. More measurements should provide more information and enhance the image quality in low noise conditions

However, the trade-off between adding image information and adding noise in each coefficient measurement results in an optimum number of measurements for reconstruction image quality.

We also put forward a quality control method to increase efficiency of measurements, thus, reducing the measurement time without compromising the computational time.

Light field display for vision correction

EyeFyx: vision correction for digital screens

A microlens array is in front of a digital screen to make a light field display.

Universal solution: One microlens array parameter is enough for all screen and all eyes' diopters. All are software correction

Unlike conventional light field display, the trade of between spatial resolution with angle resolution is much relxed in EyeFyx solution.

Efficient algorithm allows to run Eyefyx at the frame rate of 100 frames per second.
