Yong Group: Theoretical Biological & Statistical Physics

Welcome! This is the research group website of YONG Ee Hou. I am an assistant professor at the Division of Physics and Applied Physics in the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Our group works on theoretical problems in biological and statistical physics, ranging from morphological transitions, forms, and shapes of things in nature, collective phenomena, stochastic processes, complex networks, etc. Please see the Research page for a summary of our research work.

There are currently openings for graduate students and postdoctoral research fellows. Please contact me if you are interested. Eligible graduate students should apply for the various prestigious PhD Scholarships offered by NTU, such as Nanyang President's Graduate Scholarship (NPGS), Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA), etc. Motivated NTU undergraduates should contact me regarding research opportunities (FYP, URECA, Odyssey Summer Research etc).
